About Us

Helena's Journey

The Vegan Treat Lady was born, from a promise to my amazing, beautiful daughter Helena. As a baby she was diagnosed with a severe dairy allergy. That near death experience invoked in me, a desire to create delicious non-dairy treats that she'd love and enjoy. We're so happy to share with you our love of baking flavorful, yummy, mouthwatering vegan desserts!!

Our Desire

We hope to help change the face of vegan foods, one dessert at a time. We'd love to introduce a new narrative surrounding vegan foods with young bakers as well. We'd love to host mentoring programs to educate on the advantages of eating healthier by choosing a vegan diet.

Our Products

All our products are 100% vegan. We only use ingredients that are free from top allergens such as: Nut, Egg, Dairy, Casein, Soy, Coconut and Corn. We use vinyl gloves to prevent latex allergies as well. We bake our desserts daily and they're made to order. We pride ourselves on making the very best desserts and our desire is to bring you all the things we love in hopes you'll love them too!!

Placing an Order

To place an order please email, Thevegantreatlady@gmail.com, call 630-468-0027 or 773-603-1036. You can also visit: https://the-vegan-treat-lady.square.site/ . When sending an email, please include, your full name, telephone number, delivery/shipping address and your order. While we offer allergen free products if you have any allergies please make sure to include that in your email.

We work very hard at responding within the hour but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the number listed above.

Square Invoice

Placing an Order

All invoices are sent through Square and there is a processing charge. The invoice must be paid by close of business. If you require shipping, the order must be paid within 1 hour so that there is no delay in creating your order and shipment due to non-payment. If an invoice hasn't been paid the order will be canceled. Square accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Google Pay.

Shipping charges apply to all orders and the customer is responsible for shipping. UPS is our preferred shipping affiliate. The order minimum for shipping is $30.

Where are you located?

We are currently using a shared kitchen as we locate the perfect home for

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship within the United States. Shipping is an additional charge that the customer is responsible for. We can only ship cookies and peach/apple cobblers.

what type of milk and butter do you use?

If our recipe calls for milk or butter, we choose to use Ripple Plant Based Milk and Earth Balance plant based butter.

How long do the desserts last?

Since our customers have been eating our desserts as quickly as they get them, we haven't been able to gauge the shelf life. LOLOL. But we have found that the desserts actually get better as time goes on. We've had several customers that did save their cookies and they state they lasted 2 weeks without refrigerating them. The poundcakes and cobblers/pies we suggest you refrigerate or keep in a cool dry space.
